Last week (and extended until Wednesday, September 26), the KVA community pitched in to help those in need in communities along the coast affected by Hurricane Florence.

Cleaning supplies, water, soap, trash bags, and other needed items were brought in and will be shipped east this week.  A big thank you to all of our families that contributed to this relief effort.  We are very proud of our Student Government Association for heading this project up.

We are collecting items that can be used during this time of need including:

*Canned food

*Water

*Soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers

*Paper towels

*Cleaning supplies - brooms, mops, buckets, scrub brushes, work gloves

*Contractor sized trash bags, plastic storage totes

*Dog and cat food

*Bleach

*Clorox wipes

*Tarps

*Flash lights, batteries
