2020 KVA Athletics Fall Sports Update

Kerr-Vance Academy along with the NCISAA is very excited to get our student athletes back on the playing fields this fall. Our school administration has created a wonderful return-to-play plan that we are very excited about. Below I have attached a timeline for the next few weeks of athletics at Kerr-Vance Academy.

August 10th- August 21st- Kerr-Vance will remain in Stage 2 of our Voluntary Summer workout plan. (We will have no workouts/ practices during the first three days of the school year to allow time for students to become acclimated with new school procedures.) We will follow the same sign up process for workouts that we have used over the past four weeks of workouts!

August 20th- Kerr-Vance will host our annual Fall sports meeting virtually via zoom. Each team will meet individually and coaches as well as myself will be available to answer any questions you may have. Links for these zoom meetings will be emailed and will be posted on our school website.

August 24th- Full practice begins for all Fall sports. This will allow for two full weeks of practice for Tennis and Cross Country prior to games being played, and three full weeks of practice prior to Volleyball and Soccer games being played.

Below is a summary the NCISAA recently released outlining the NCISAA's plans for fall sports.
