Spring 2023 “Ticket to Play”

All Kerr-Vance Academy athletes playing a a Spring sport must have all paperwork completed with the appropriate signatures and turned in prior to practices in order to receive a “TICKET TO PLAY”.  All of the required paperwork and fees should be submitted the week of February 6th.  If the student played a Fall or Winter sport, paperwork does not need to be resubmitted but the physical has to be valid. NO TICKET, NO PLAY!

Practices begin February 13, 2023.

The “TICKETS” will be issued in Coach Joyner’s office in the gym for all Spring sports the week of February 6th.

Requirements to get a “Ticket to Play” (all forms have links to them so you can print and sign):

• Physical Exam and Medical History Form

• NCISAA Consent to Participate and Release Form

• Gfeller-Waller Compliance Form

• Pay the $225 sports fee.  

Anyone playing a Spring sport must have a physical exam that will Not Expire until after the season.  For the Spring season, the exam expiration date will be after June 1, 2023.  

It is the athlete’s responsibility to get his/her “TICKET TO PLAY”  from Coach Joyner.  If all paperwork and forms are complete, Coach Joyner will notify the coach that he/she can attend practice.  No ticket, no play, no exceptions. 

If the student-athlete played a Fall or Winter sport, and has a valid physical on file, he/she just needs to notify Coach Joyner they plan to play and pay the $225 sports fee.  

It is the Parent’s/Athlete’s responsibility to have all forms completed. Forms will not be accepted unless they are fully completed.
