KVA Professional Development

KVA faculty and staff took part in professional development on Wednesday, March 13.

The focus of workshop was school safety, differentiated instruction through technology, and vertical alignment/curriculum.  Educators worked in whole group and station rotations.  They learned how to use Discovery Education tools and BYOD apps and ways to apply them to personalize student learning.  They studied safety scenarios and collaborated to form solutions.  They also outlined student outcomes grade to grade and within departments.
