Festival of Trees: Honor Societies and Girls Ensemble

The Kerr-Vance Academy 7th & 8th Grade Girls Ensemble will be performing for the Festival of Trees at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4th.

The Honor Society and Junior Honor Society are entering a tree in the Festival of Trees. Our theme is “A KVA Christmas”.

Please stop by the Vance County Regional Farmers Market (210 Southpark Dr, Henderson, NC) and support our Ensemble and take a look at our tree!

The Festival of Trees will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Vance County.

Additional information from the Boys and Girls Club:

The first annual Boys and Girls Club Festival of Trees is coming to town! It’s a community wide celebration of the holiday season, while also an opportunity to contribute to the youth of our area through the Boys and Girls Club of Vance County.

Community donors and volunteers will create a winter wonderland of decorated trees for the delight of our citizens of all ages. The event will run from December 3rd-6th, 2pm-7pm, at the Vance County Regional Farmers Market. Admission is $5 (children are admitted free, but must be accompanied by an adult). Families and friends can come through and experience the magic of the holidays, including the beautiful trees, entertainment, refreshments, and maybe even a few surprise visitors!

We are also having a silent auction on some of the trees all week long and the winning bidder will be notified on Saturday at 11 am.

All proceeds of this event go to our Boys and Girls Club of Vance County!
