Lesson Spotlight: 6th Grade

6th graders in Mrs. Thiede’s 6th grade math class tackled Algebraic Expressions on Monday.

The lesson included whole group instruction with questions that helped them make connections to prior learning.  Students took notes responded to questions and cues.  To practice their skills, students worked both in partner settings and on individual problems.  The lesson concluded with a Kahoot practice using personal devices.  A big shout out to Mrs. Thiede and her 6th graders, tomorrow’s problem solvers!
